Below are a number of answers to questions that I regularly get asked, but please do contact me at if you have anything further you would like to ask. 

How do we communicate?

Whichever way works best for you. Some clients prefer email while others prefer to use Slack or Whats App instead of email.

How do we share passwords?

Passwords are shared via LastPass which is a password management service that stores encrypted passwords in private accounts. It's free and easy to set up and means that I don't get access to your passwords. and you can revoke them at anytime giving you complete control.

How Do We Share Files

I primarily use email (Office365) to share files but also tools such as G Suite, Dropbox and Office365.

How do I pay you?

You pay via bank transfer. When will depend on the type of package you have chosen. Bank details are on my invoice.

Do you have your own insurance?

Yes, I have professional indemnity insurance with PolicyBee.

How Do I keep Track of Hours worked?

I use an online time tracking app called Top Tracker. When I invoice you I will also send you a copy of the time tracking report.

What happens if I'm on a retainer and I need extra support for the month?

No problem, I can invoice you at the end of the month for the extra hours used which will be the same as your retainer rate.

Do you issue a contract?

I issue a booking form which details the work going to be undertaken. The booking form and the Terms of Business combined are the contract. Both have been written for the Virtual Assistant industry (KoffeeKlatch)

What about data protection?

I'm registered with the ICO and if any booking requires the use of personal data about any individuals based in the EU/UK then I ask you to complete a Data Processing Agreement (we can complete this together).

What about short notice work?

If I can fit short notice work into my calendar then I will do the work at no extra cost. However, please note this is not the way I work on a regular basis.

Am I locked into a long contract with you?

Nope, there's a month notice for retainers and Pay as You Use. Also, there's no minimum term, just a minimum of four hours per month.

Do you contract work out to other VA's?

I have in the past but this didn't really work for me as much of my work is either confidential or strategic.
