How it started.
I started my Virtual Assistant business in 2016 after I realised there was a need for outsourced admin support for small businesses and had a drive to start my own business ever since I completed my degree in Business Management.
Many years of working in senior office management positions in both the private and public sectors have equipped me with numerous skills and experiences. I have a degree in Business Management, I'm Prince2 qualified and I hold a Professional Certificate in Social Media from the Institute of Digital Marketing.

First Client.
My first client was a small local publisher who required administrative support due to frequent business travel and the company's early stages of expansion.
At the time, the concept of providing virtual assistance to multiple businesses was still relatively new, and I mostly worked with local clients in the beginning. However, since then, Clairical has grown significantly, and I've had the opportunity to support a wide range of clients across various sectors, including Business Intelligence, Psychiatry, and Life Coaching, throughout the UK.
About me.
Based near Exeter, Devon I work virtually although it's lovely to meet people face to face when possible and consume tea and baked goods!
I’m a mum to two very busy teenage boys and Barney the Cavapoo. In summer, you'll find me at the local cricket ground, (watching my partner not playing), exploring our varied and beautiful Devon landscape, playing the piano and trying to get through my TBR pile of books!

The Practical Stuff...
How I Work
I'm very mindful about the amount of work and clients I take on. I only ever work with a client if it's an area of work I know and have experience in. We both don't have the time for inefficiency and I probably know a VA that could help you anyway.
This means that sometimes I do have limited client capacity. If this is the case I can add you to my waiting list or provide alternative VA recommendations.
Finally, I don't outsource to other VA's as most of the work I do is strategic and/or confidential.
Access to Work
I've worked with many neurodiverse clients who receive Access to Work funding. This scheme helps those with physical or mental health conditions and disabilities to either find work or stay in work. Grants can cover support workers, specialist equipment, and assistive software. Learn more here.

Planting Trees for New Clients
To celebrate my 6th year in business I wanted to donate to a local charity. I love trees and all that they can do for us in terms of biodiversity, the environment, play and our wellbeing.
Trees for Good Causes is a Community Interest Company (CIC) offering tree planting to individuals and businesses. They can help in offsetting your carbon footprint or offer you eco-conscious gifting.
In addition to the six trees already planted, I will be donating when celebrating a business win and new clients.
